Alex grew up in the Bronx and is a comedian who loves to write both sketch comedy and movie scripts. He loves the movies Rocky and Goodfellas. He is a huge 80’s music fan and hopes to participate in the NYC marathon soon. He says the best feeling of the day is seeing the dogs he walks doing circles and jumping in excitement to see him. His favorite part of the city is the dog run at Riverside Park and 72nd street.
“Green spaces give me life.” As a Navy kid, Britt lived in different places growing up but ultimately landed in Kentucky. Her first dog was a Jack Rusell Terrier and she currently has a 12 year old senior Miniature Pinscher named Phoenix. She loves travelling abroad, hiking, reading, writing, and enjoying cocktails with friends. She loves caring for animals because they have 100% pure intentions and are loyal to a fault. She likes to listen to Ani DiFranco and a lot of other genres of music too. “After hiking the Camino in Spain, it was hard to stop walking. Moving to NYC was the closest I could get to a walking city. So while I freelance write, I can also walk dogs. I’ve combined all my favorite things!”

Christina grew up in New York City. She paints, makes music, and enjoys writing poetry and short horror stories. She likes the trees in Central Park, exploring nature, and meditating. One of her favorite movies is A Wrinkle in Time.
Crystal grew up in Woodhaven, New York. She has a Puggle named Charlie. She loves to read and go to the movies. Her favorite movie is Titanic and her favorite book is A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. She also loves music, her favorite bands are The XX and Hailee Steinfield. Crystal says, “the best part about caring for animals is playing with them and seeing their excitement when you arrive to take them out!” She recommends going to Central Park near 75th street to enjoy a good book while sitting on the lawn.

Emely grew up in the Bronx with a standard poodle named Cindy and even though she always wanted a cat, Cindy changed her mind and really made her love dogs. She enjoys being outside and exploring new places. She loves that anywhere you look, there’s always someone posting their art around New York, whether that is on a fire hydrant, a light post, or a wall! Her favorite book series are Game of Thrones and Jurassic Park. She currently has two mixed Terriers, Loki and Luna.
Emily J. grew up in Maryland, just outside DC and now she lives in Brooklyn. Her first dog was a Portugese Water Dog named Tye. All of the clients’ dogs are like her own as she doesn’t have a pup right now but she does have a kitty named Leroy. The relationships she builds with the animals she cares for are a source of joy, laughter and love. Her favorite part of the city is in Central Park near 103rd street where the pond and the woods are. Some of her favorite movies are Doom Generation, and Hausu and she plans on directing thrillers someday. She is currently listening to Tyler, the Creator.

Michelle is certified in Pet CPR and First Aid.
She is a native New Yorker and her favorite places in NYC are wherever there are dog runs! Her first dog was a Rottweiler named Belial. She currently has a feline daughter. She loves music and art. She spends her free time being an advocate for Animal Rights and studying to become a Vet Tech. She admires Diane Fossey, Jane Goodall and Doris Day, to name a few.
